What is a valid domain name?
:
The rules are 24 characters including the extension such as ".com", so actually the name has a limit of 20 characters (in fact, the domain name checker will only allow you to use 20 characters). Please note that only 0-9, a-z, and the dash "-" are valid characters.

How do I transfer a domain name and how long does it take?
:
Transfers (Internic) - We will submit the transfer request to Internic. Internic will send an email requesting "acknowledgment" of the transfer to the Administrative and Technical contacts listed in their records (run the domain check to find out the emails listed as the admin/technical contacts). A reply needs to be sent by you from the email address that Internic has in their records otherwise the transfer will not take place. Usually the time taken is between 24 hours to upto 5 days.
If you no longer have access to the emails listed in Internic records, the process is a bit more complex, contact us for details. (
